Lol , my simple take on this is do what works for you. You could have lost both the house and business if it went south. Then you would have regretted not building the house when you had the money. Talking from experience I spent over 50 million to build my dream house and 3 years later , some days I feel like I made mistakes, some days when I see my house I feel accomplished. What if I had started a business and lost everything i would have regretted, and what if I use to money to build a bigger business I would been more wealthier , so it’s matter of preference.

This is exactly what I have been saying, u have no business building a house as a young man, use that money and invest then later you build, imagine you have 50 million, instead of using that 50 million to build, look for a house of 500k for instance a year, 5m will pay for 10 years, then invest 45m, before that 10 years elapsed, you would have made so much money that will allow you to conveniencely build a house and own a working business

It won’t always work for everyone. My ex boss rented in the most expensive estate in Lagos here on the island and was doing good until issue arised and business folded up. His landlord didn’t remember the good time that man is now a nobody trust me.. Dow a lot was involved now he moved to the mainland.. if that was his house atleast it would have sheltered him and his family.. what works for one won’t for all.

Life no get manual. Some people have seen money for house too, buh they were feeling like is not necessary or not that important now, buh the money is gone. Bills will always come. Like me now house wey I build without intention of finishing it. Buh I did and I was suprise so I do get this kind of money and I don’t know, cus I have been living life and relaxing. If i didn’t start that house I don’t think I will even have 70% of that money left now.

When I started seeing money, the first thing I rushed to build was a house—a solid two-room apartment. My mindset was simple: this isn’t my dream house, but at least I won’t have to carry the burden of paying rent anymore. Three years ago, I saved up 15M and invested it in transportation with the mindset that: I'm to use this business profit and start my dream house, which unfortunately ended up failing. But today, whenever I look at my apartment, I feel a sense of accomplishment. I’m 31, still learning, and still pushing. This may not be everything I dream of, but it’s proof that I’m making progress. Nobody should discourage you from building a house. Building a house first before starting a business can still be a smart move. At the end of the day, whatever path you choose, just pray that it works out. 🙏🏾
