This! This is exactly how I feel. When I started making ACEOs, yeah, one of my goals was to make some money because I’m broke and art supplies definitely aren’t cheap. 😂 But more than that, I wanted to actually use my talent instead of letting it sit there. ACEOs gave me a reason to paint again. They’ve introduced me to so many amazing artists and collectors. Even though I’ve never met any of them in person, it really feels like we’ve built a little community. Everyone is so talented, supportive, and genuinely kind. I hope one day I’m selling larger paintings just as much as my ACEOs, but I’m happy with where I am right now. I’ve never really wanted to make videos showing my face because, to me, it doesn’t matter. What matters is the art. That’s what I want people to remember. I also don’t stick to one niche. I paint whatever inspires me that day. One day it might be a cryptid, the next it’s a bird, a cat, or something completely random. I paint what I enjoy, and I think that’s what keeps creating fun for me. At the end of the day, if my art makes someone smile, inspires another artist, or helps me connect with people from all over the world, then I’d say that’s a pretty big win. ❤️

My daughter told me to up my starting bid because she thinks $4.99 starting bid is too low for the work I put into them. I'd agree but, I don't know anymore. I wish I had more likes and views from the TikTok postings of what I do. 100 views and maybe 4 likes speaks volumes. I did sellout my Arizona Series though. That was fun.

This!!! I’ve been doing my own thing and it’s doing wonders to my business! I’m able to pay to rebuy supplies and other things that I wasn’t able to before, and I don’t even show my face as much. Just let my art speak for me! 💕💕✨✨ your art is amazing too! 💕💕

I don't stay focused long enough to follow directions but I am still selling some and have enough groceries in the house from it. If people smile seeing my art...that is why I do it really.

Maybe I need to set my prices higher because mine don’t get a lot of bids only one and always end up selling around $4 and it’s not enough to cover other costs 😅 but I haven’t done them since they sold for $25 at markets so I didn’t feel like doing them anymore for eBay but I will try again but with a higher price!

I love this... all of this! And this is how I feel too... I am losing at the game of content creation but I am winning in life by not limiting my self with all those rules these coaches have for us... because I simply love to try new and all kinds of different art... 😁 one type of art would never work for me!

i made this one and eBay was telling me to post it for at the highest at 65 and I was so scared to post it at that price so I posted it for $10 it took me 3ish hours to get it right

I agree - I start most of mine at 3.99 and 4.99 but I’ve been thinking lately I want to start higher and/or add a buy it now price. I did start low in the beginning and that did help me get traffic but now I only sell lower if a card has not sold after a long while.

Your art is wonderful! I just take what works for me. I am not good with marketing and I made peace already that my art is not for everyone and will probably not be popular but I am happy with what I make and if it reaches people that made them happy and inspired then I am cool with it. Absolutely with you. Selling for 99 cents just didn’t work for me. So now I make sure I make at least a little bit at the cheapest I sell and I up the price for pieces I love. 💚
