CONTEXT: we were at AT&T and it was taking forever. I was in the car with the kids. Told my husband I was going to run across the street and go through chick fil a to get them something to eat. When I came back he was helping her. The store was all glass windows so he saw her walking around her car on the phone and starting to get the tire out. He went out to ask if she needed help and realized she was on the phone with her husband (who was at work) and told him that he would help her. I was not surprised when I pulled up and found him doing this. He’s helped push cars to gas stations, jump cars, help old ladies put heavy groceries in their cars. That’s the kind of man my grandpa is, my dad is, and my husband is. And I couldn’t be prouder. If you are jealous of your man doing this or won’t “let” your husband do this, then you need to look inward. If your man would never do this, then sis get a new man.

The poor men in here saying their girl would be pissed at them for doing this need to find a new partner, because that attitude is absolute nonsense. I would NEVER be upset at my husband for helping someone, especially a woman with a baby in the car. Talk about insecurity.

My husband came home after work one day and told me he was late for work that day because he saw a little girl waiting for her school bus who looked frightened because there was an old man bugging her and not leaving her alone, my husband pulled up opened the back window so she could see he had out 3 year old daughter in the back and asked if she needed help, she said she was trying to wait for her bus but was nervous so he stayed right there and waited for her bus with her and made sure that baby got on that bus safe. I knew I loved him, but somehow i love him even more after that.

We were passing a parking lot and a girl was screaming and running from a man. He pulled in so fast and got her into his car. We gave her a ride home. He’s stopped in the middle of the road to help a woman with a dead battery, he bought the jumper cables with his last 10 dollars. He tested the extent of his breaks to avoid a baby ferret. And he stops traffic every time he sees a goose because my EX let me watch one get hit. He’s my superhero and I truly am so grateful for him.

One day I was in the middle of cooking dinner and realized I didn't have an onion or something small that I forgot, so my husband slipped on his shoes and drove a mile up the road to the Dollar General. It took him 20 minutes so when he got back I asked him what took so long and he said there was a mom with 4 kids in the parking lot with a flat tire just waiting on her husband to get off work at midnight. He changed her tire and it was no big deal. But I always thought, it was like 6pm so if he didn't change her tire she would've been waiting in her car with 4 kids for 6 hours! The next day my husband taught me to change my own tires so I wouldn't ever be stuck somewhere waiting on him
