ONE VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: - These human experiences, while profound, never contradict Scripture. Death is the separation of the soul (the real you) from the body, while the spirit returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7). Immediately after death, the soul faces judgment (Hebrews 9:27). At the rapture, believers who have died will receive glorious bodies, and those alive will be transformed in an instant (1 Corinthians 15:51-53). Ultimately, heaven and God’s throne descend to the new earth, fulfilling all things (Revelation 22:1-3). - The afterlife is an experience of eternity, not bound by human time. For those who see it, they are witnessing the eternal judgment that is already fixed in God’s reality, even if it has not yet unfolded in our timeline (2 Peter 3:8). This is exactly what happened when Daniel, Ezekiel, and John saw visions of the end and recorded them (Revelation 1:10, Ezekiel 1:1). Near-death experiences can reflect the same divine preview, not as new revelation, but as a glimpse of what God has already spoken. - So let no one be troubled. Every vision, every moment of dying and returning, must be tested by the Word, and when it aligns, it only confirms the truth (Isaiah 8:20). God’s revelation is complete and sufficient, and these experiences, however extraordinary, are simply human echoes of what He has already made clear. They add nothing new—they only remind us that His Word stands forever (1 Peter 1:25).
