@hustlersnthehood: Homeless over a year. Found an envelope on the street with a $10,000 check in it. Didn't even think about keeping it. "It never crossed my mind. I made a decision to turn my life over. I've been clean for three years." He barely spoke English. His homie had a phone. Together they tracked down the name on that check. It was Roberta Hoskie. Real estate broker. She pulled up expecting a man in a suit. What Elmer didn't know is she used to be out there too. Teenage mom on welfare before she built her company. She paid his rent up front. Put him through her real estate school. Got him a job. One condition. When you get on your feet, you pull somebody else off the street. A year later he wasn't homeless. He was standing next to her announcing housing for 15 homeless kids. He gave back $10,000 he could've kept. She gave him back a life. #HustlersNTheHood
