When I first came to FUTIA, I never imagined that I would meet someone who would eventually become so important to me. Her name is Sylvia. She was a complete stranger to me when I first saw her. I remember meeting her for the first time in the auditorium during a lecture, Physics 104, if I'm not mistaken. The moment I saw her, there was just something about her. She looked nice, and I felt this strange but beautiful feeling that I couldn't really explain. It wasn't something I planned. It was just natural. I suddenly found myself wanting to know her, wanting to have her around, and imagining what it would be like to have her beside me more often. After the lecture, I gathered the courage to find a way to talk to her. But instead of simply walking up to her and introducing myself, I chose the easiest excuse I could think of. I asked her for her Physics 104 handout. Honestly, the handout wasn't really the main reason. I just wanted a reason to talk to her and a chance to get to know her. And somehow, that little moment became the beginning of our friendship. We exchanged contacts, started talking on WhatsApp, and everything felt so natural. Our conversations were genuine, effortless, and enjoyable. Before I knew it, I was becoming attached to her. I started developing feelings for her. I don't know exactly what she felt or whether she ever felt the same way, but what I do know is that what we had meant something to me. We became really close, best friends, at least from my perspective. And then, somehow, things changed. I still don't completely understand how or when it happened. We just stopped talking. The same people who once couldn't go a day without talking to each other suddenly became strangers again. No messages. No calls. No "hi." Not even the simplest greeting. Sometimes we see each other on the road, and we act like we don't even know each other. And honestly, that hurts. I'm not writing this to blame you, pressure you, or pretend that things can simply go back to exactly how they were. I know people change, circumstances change, and sometimes relationships don't remain the way they started. But I just want you to know one thing: I miss you.
