quick tip from me, after you wash it with coarse salt, you boil it with tamarind and add a lil bit of sugar for 5min, and then squeeze all the excess water. it helps reduce the bitterness

We eat papaya flower all the time in Papua. We mix them with kangkung and when you make it spicier with lots of garlic it tastes soooo good! To get rid of the bitterness you have to boil it and then squeeze out the excess water until there’s no liquid left.
