Yes, those who try to justify themselves say to God they know better. This is a relative, prideful way to claim to be saved.

Right! Since it’s faith alone that saves baptism cannot be a requirement for salvation. Cornelius was saved before baptism(Acts 10:43-48). Paul wasn’t sent to baptize but to preach the gospel(1 Corinthians 1:14-17). Baptism is a great thing Christian should do but it won’t get any closer to heaven. Faith in Christ alone is what justifies not watee

That's what YOUR version of Protestantism believes! Most Protestants believe in Once saved always saved! They believe works are irrelevant!

Veritas comes first :
Luther would disagree with you, only faith saves you even if you continue to be a sinner. That’s why there is no Sacrament of Confession in Protestants because would be useless. What you exposed is the Catholic doctrine not the Protestant one

So if your faith doesn't produce fruit, it's you saved?

Eric the Monk :
Faith does not produce works, James 2 says faith being alone without works is dead. He warned we can have faith and not works, but if we do then we will go to hell. This is explained by Jesus himself in Matthew 25 in parable of talents, we are all given a measure of faith. At Jesus' return he requires "usury" of our faith, or he will cast us into outer darkness.
