ive gotten work from some pretty big names in the tattoo industry. Ive paid $500 deposits. Ive also not seen the reference image until the day of my appointment in some cases. Your deposit is so if you no show at least the artist has something for their lost day of work.

Every artist charges a deposit until after you start getting tattooed regularly by them then they stop asking for a deposit. I couldn’t make a tattoo appointment once with an artist I didn’t ask for my deposit back. $100 isn’t much at all

I agree with you. People can do their own research They spend money on airfare, rental car and hotel and she’s booked up. This girl devotes her whole time to beat her down. Who cares. They go to her her it’s their choice and problem

I feel like the deposit means I start the process of designing, but it is not the reason I take a deposit, there is a correlation, it’s not the same though

Dude, I give my regular artist a deposit for every session and I don’t see the art until I’m in the chair 😂 I hate Ariel just as much as everyone else but you’re response is spot on.
