I disagree completely. My wife has made me money, because she's diligent with what she has and she's genuinely skilled at what she does. I don't think I'd have what I have now without her. And why would you put money above a decision about love. For me the order is God, family, ministry. Money is a byproduct of the ministry, it's not the thing sitting at the top. Two. Start saying no without explaining yourself. How does that make you money. It sounds good and it does nothing. Three. Carry cash so spending hurts. Instead of engineering pain for yourself, be a good steward and deal with the real issue, which is wanting things you can't afford. You can feel that exact same pain in thirty seconds by pulling your bank statement into ChatGPT and reading what you actually spent last month. Four. Move back home and save on rent. That's a poverty mindset. You're nickel and diming small things while your skill set stays exactly where it is. The six or seven hundred a month you save, even one or two thousand, is nothing next to building your character and your skill so you earn more. Five. Never borrow for lifestyle because it'll cost you double. That's the one I agree with. Borrow for a house. Borrow for things you actually need. Never borrow to look richer than you are for people who aren't paying your bills. Four of these are about spending less. One is about not digging a hole.
