Scratch Cards don't need to active by scanning them! Once they're in that display all Scratch Cards are ACTIVE! They scan them because it's an item they put through the till just like tobacco and sweets!

A lad I went to school with robbed 4/5 rolls none of them worked coz you have to activate them, he got banned for life from the lottery charged with theft and lost his job. The best bit is he tried to cash them in where he nicked them from 😂
