I once heard somewhere that the BaSotho hat was inspired by the Egyptian Pyramid's, could it be true? Because it is said that "Ntu" was from Egypt. Bantu apparently are the descendants of 'Ntu", but we are Sootho people though, I don't know 😕

I think there's a misunderstanding. That prayer is based on the seasons and the cycle of nature it's about planting, renewal, and how life comes with the changing months of the year. That's why we celebrate ours in September. From my understanding, the traditional Basotho prayer was not originally about Jesus; it existed within Basotho spiritual and cultural traditions long before Christianity arrived. Christianity was introduced later, and over time some people combined Christian beliefs with traditional customs, while others kept them separate.
