and how come the LGBTQ+ community gets to come up with different labels & definitions regarding all their sexualities/genders but when straight women are saying yes i’m straight and i like the opposite gender however im not attracted to men who also like men. why can’t there be nuances regarding that. they keep calling us homophobic sayin straight means we’re attracted to men regardless of their sexual orientation. i could find a bi man attractive but if his sexual orientation doesn’t align with mine im not interested why is that so bad

Me & my sister discussed this. We look at men that are attractive but have zero desire to do anything sexually. We can acknowledge attraction without wanting anything more. A lot of people especially men don’t operate like this!

The definition of sexuality is more in line with how women see it. I think they are purposely blurring the lines because narcissists operate better in blurred boundaries. They keeping conflating thinking someone is attractive and having an attraction as the same. A lot of women can identify other attractive women but if they don’t have a sexual attraction to women they are not gay or bi.

As a heterosexual who only wants to date another heterosexual, I feel they are forcing us to say the reasons why we don’t want to date a bi is rooted in biphobia and then when we agree they shame us, there’s no winning.
