I’ve danced lead and follow mostly because at all the dance schools I’ve been to there are not enough men to pair to all the women. It does make you a better dancer know what feels right for the opposite to what you’re doing

i think people should just dance however they want to! it’s just leading steps and following steps, they’re technically not gendered. nothing wrong with tradition if that’s your cup of tea but there’s nothing wrong with going against tradition either, dancing is supposed to be fun and creative so do whatever you like as long as it’s dancing 😂
