Thank you so much for covering this. This has really made me be seen and yes I totally agree with you and feel sorry for anybody who has grown mild or severe. It’s a horrible disease to deal with

My 12 yr son was diagnosed in March. On one hand he has no pain or diarhea, We found out because of the blood in his poop. So one would think he has the mild one. But on the other hand the inflammation is not decreasing as it should be, he keeps getting new meds.

I’ve verbally been told by colorectal surgeon but he never put it on my notes but did refer me to gastro I’ve had multiple fistulas and currently have both sphincter muscles fistulas shown up in the mri. However my new surgeon wants to do another colonoscopy before adding Crohn’s to my medical records. Why would they do this rather than just accept mri results?
