@athena_guerra: Another update on our sweet Atti boy. ❤️‍🩹 Yesterday, he had to go back to the OR because they found a fungal infection at his chest incision. The surgeons did a washout and took biopsies to determine whether the infection is only on the surface or if it extends deeper into his chest. This is an extremely rare fungus. If it’s deeper, it will be a much more difficult and scary situation. If it’s only on the surface, he’ll still need long-term antifungal treatment for about a year. Please continue praying for our sweet boy. It feels like Atti has experienced every rare complication imaginable, but he continues to amaze us with how strong and resilient he is. He is the strongest little warrior, and we’re believing he’ll keep fighting through this. 💪🏻❤️‍🩹🙏#hlhs #heartwarrior That’s his god mommy in the video giving all the loves❤️
