I turned the air down in MY hospital room and he got mad at me because he was cold. I tried to explain to him that I had just had a baby, my hormones were all over the place, and I was having hot flashes. He told me that I wasn’t the patient, the baby was the patient.

Gave birth and he was still trying to say he was more tired. Very thankful to my nurses who helped me while he slept on the couch almost our whole 2 day stay. Needless to say left him and thriving as a single parent now

when i had my first child by c section, the day of coming home I had to take out the trash and there were many many bags and do the dishes, I was passing blood clots bigger than an egg and he was to overwhelmed with having a newborn in the house that he needed to go to the bar every night.

We are BOTH tired. I can respect that he’s tired too. That’s why we meet in the middle to see what we can do for one another. I’m pregnant, I’ve stayed consistent with my nutrition and exercise and for that I am grateful because I’ve been able to have the energy to do what I can. If I’m able to, I will. He does the same. I won’t use my pregnancy as an excuse to be lazy.
