what's their problem?? Sounds like you all did many things. you are not a babysitter and having a drink in the evening while on vacation is no big deal. I dont see how you ruined their good time.

it’s called ‘child free shaming.” Unhappily married women have invested so many years of time, money, emotion and hard labour (mental and physical) that anything that challenges the status quo of “married life is the ultimate and only dream goal for all women”, is interpreted as a challenge to the choices they made. Their princess dream of marriage and children was not the fairy tale life they thought it would be. But to examine their life and whether they are honestly happy would run the risk of the answer being no. So they don’t. When other life choices like being child free are in front of them with the many obvious freedoms and benefits it offers (like not having to miss out on fun activities to look after children, and so much more), they attack child free woman to protect the choices they made. Examples of this are “why didn’t YOU help with me children?” - yet it’s ok for the child’s father to go out and have fun. So why do they do this? Because their life MUST make them happy. They have already invested too much into it. They have invested EVERYTHING. No another outcome is acceptable. - [ ]
