Light and olive aren't mutually exclusive, it is about yellow-green undertones. I hope people weren't actually acting like asking if you were was somehow problematic. It's a range of skin tones, not a race/ethnicity.

hey sooooo after some digging historically olive meant medium skin tone (Mediterranean skin tone e.g Rosario Dawson, Mila Kunis, Kim K) But more recently it's used to describe folk with green hue so you were right 👍
