If the system is messing up, itās out of their control you said itās never happened before so obviously somethings messing up. You donāt have to be rude and say itās not acceptable technology messes up.

First of all, the store literally has ZERO control of the app. The app is entirely separate from the store. If they put your order code into their register and it says it cannot find the order for that code there is literally nothing they can do about that. Secondly, the store was closed. That means the grills and vats had been shut down and they were in the process of cleaning. EVEN if they could just look at the order on your phone to see what you ordered they would have to turn all of the equipment back on and let it come to temp, get the food back out and cook your order. Not only is that an unreasonable expectation but you said you were late so you wouldnāt have had time to wait anyway. And lastly, when you place on order on the app the store does not ātake your moneyā UNTIL they pull your order up on their register and run it through their system and hit the button to complete your order. All you have to do is go under Order Details in the app and at the top of your screening small print it has a Cancel Order option. Click it and the app refunds your order.

No business is open 24 hours. Not fully..At some point the computer system has to shut down for the daily reports, end of day transaction totals, install updates, etc. Like the customer said, the physical store has signs that do NOT say open 24.hours. If you sit at the drive thru and nobody not even a recorded message greets you the business is closed it's not hard to figure out. Maybe if he hadn't started with such an attitude the worker would have tried to help more.
