my mum’s father is a narcissistic, hateful asshole who was physically and emotionally abusive to her when she was a child and then left the family for another woman, yet she’s still defending him saying “he’s still her father” and that she’s still “half of him” because he was the one who concieved her in the first place, I’ve been trying to tell her to finally go no contact with him for good, yet she still accaisionally talks to him…and I feel so bad for her…

I said once that no one who is violent towards their kids, shouldn’t have kids. All of my moms relatives got angry because ”you think we shouldn’t have kids” yep, that’s what i think. Then my mom got angry at me because ”I humiliated her by telling she shouldn’t have kids” yep, you shouldn’t. That was on 2017, didn’t have family christmas with them since🥰
