@lifewithwendylee: Most people are living in a body that thinks it's still under attack. The deadlines. The inbox. The version of you that has to perform, provide, and hold it all together. Your system reads it as threat. So it stays switched on. Always scanning. Always braced. You call it ambition. Your nervous system calls it survival. And you wonder why you can't sleep. Why stillness feels uncomfortable. Why joy has become something you have to schedule. Here's what I've learned. You cannot think your way out of a state your body is stuck in. You have to change the state first. So I come here. I follow the trails until the noise gets quiet. Until the thing that felt enormous this morning becomes just one small part of a much bigger story. That's the shift. Not running from life... but stepping back far enough to remember there is always a bigger perspective than the one fear is trying to convince me is true. And the body follows. The breath deepens. The shoulders soften. The nervous system begins to remember that it is safe. This isn't a metaphor. It's regulation. It's the oldest medicine we've always had, long before we traded it for screens, schedules, and constant stimulation. The trails don't just quiet the noise. They create the space to remember what was true all along. In that space, I remember who I am beneath the pressure to perform, to prove, or simply survive. That's the work. Returning to yourself... on purpose. Until next time... keep exploring with courageous curiosity. #CourageousCuriosity #AskingBetterQuestions #Perspective #HealingJourney #ChooseWonder
