@hallo_its_molly: They literally slapped another bandage right on before I could get a picture. It looks incredible though! I’m so happy with the tiny scar! I did not have pathology back!! She said sometimes it takes the full 2 weeks or even 3. It’s ok. I’m feeling very patient. It does feel like I have something in my throat when I swallow currently but it isn’t painful. They did an ultrasound of my vocal cords and they look great! Yay! She wants me to keep silicone patches on it for a solid month to help it heal nicely. As someone with a touch of sensory processing disorder that is a nightmare. I want it to be done with taping it. She said I can continue icing it as needed for swelling. Swelling can last for weeks (that’s the protruding look you see). I am allowed to start back on my supplements but have to stop them for 1 week before my next labs in September! My TSH is 1.67 after surgery so not too bad! #thyroidectomy #thyroidproblems #thyroidcancer
