Iran's excessive restraint, hesitation, pausing and ceasefiring is counterproductive to the threat it faces. Being passive is allowing The US to reorganize by engaging iran's neighbors. The hired guns of Saudi Arabia Turkey and Pakistan, along with Syria and Israel, and possibly India now heightens the danger and difficulties for Iran more than ever. No matter how many missiles and drones Iran has, and no matter how precise they are striking targets around them, it will not deter the US and Israel. As for Russia, Russia made some good calls, but it also made some terrible ones and it is these bad calls that has Russia in a corner up against the wall. Depending on Donald Trump to save Russia from the very war the US waging on it was the worst of all mistakes Russia could have made. Russia was too careful, way to restraint and too slow, and now it is stuck. No matter how many missiles, drones and bombs Russia drop on Ukraine, it will not get Russia out of the corner it is stuck in. This excessive restraint , a clean way of Russia and Iran fighting a dirty war with dirty contestants with no intentions to fight by the rules of engagement is no way to go on fighting these battles to deter the enemy. The solution is, stop, or mirror the enemy. There is no other option. Hopefully China and North Korea ARE learning and not make the same silly mistakes as Russia and Iran.
