Jeremiah Onyango Okumu, Salim Abubakar and Stephen Mwanzia Osaka disappeared on 26 June 2012. Hemmed Salim Hemmed disappeared in connection with the 2014 Masjid Musa operation, while John Musuu disappeared in April 2021. These are not just statistics. Behind every name is a family that has spent years asking one simple question: Where is our son, brother, husband or father? The scale of these disappearances and unidentified bodies deserves a serious, independent and transparent investigation. Families deserve answers, regardless of who is responsible.
