@dxxniis_: Being told I had endometriosis wasn’t the news I wanted, but it was the validation I desperately needed. I wasn’t overreacting. I wasn’t imagining it. My pain was real. Recovery has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. I expected the surgery. I didn’t expect the physical and emotional recovery that came with it. If I’m honest, five months later, there are still days where it feels like things are worse than before. There are still appointments, conversations about treatment, and moments where I wonder what my “new normal” will look like. But this post isn’t about feeling sorry for myself. It’s about celebrating the fact that I kept advocating for myself until someone listened. It’s about thanking my body for carrying me through something so difficult. And it’s about reminding anyone who’s fighting for answers that you know your body better than anyone else. Don’t stop pushing to be heard. I’m ready to get back into the gym, rebuild my strength and take care of myself. #endometriosisawareness #endowarrior #endometriosis #laparoscopy
