Never in my life have I understood the “Wait until you’re 18 ahh ship” thing because Wriothesley’s literally a 40 year old man..?? It’s actual delusion at some point to think their very clear, evident friendship and shared protective role over Sigewinne + the melusines ever indicates a father x son dynamic between them. Headcanon what you want, have fun, I love Wriothesley and Neuvillette being dad figures to Freminet because I think after the aq, Wrio especially would see how troubled Freminet is and encourage him to explore his emotions, and Neuvillette would teach him it’s okay to cry. But it’s just evident it’s only being said out of spite for a gay ship…??
