I totally get what youre saying but this is NOT just men. everyone does this. women and mixed groups, too. sounds like youre just maturing enough to realize how everyone is racist (you and I included) consciously or unconsciously. folks its directed towards, too, because the world fucking conditions racism and misogyny from the moment we're born. my black boyfriend taught me a bunch of racist stereotypes about black folks I'd never heard before in college as if it were funny. thats the absolute most wicked part of racism- no one is truly safe from its poison

Story of my life. The conduct and the things that they say just completely made me averse to friendships with men my age. Now, at 25, I realize that a lot of these guys have more or less been left behind by society that they have boxed out through their own behaviour and actions, and are now blaming society for being “against men” when in reality, they are still very messed up and hostile to minorities and women.
