@justinfreakin: Lindsay Clancy Prosecutor Said “Shut Her Up” While She Sobbed in Court As the lawyers returned from a short morning break on Friday, Aug. 7, defense attorney Kevin Reddington said he wanted to "raise an issue" with Judge Williams Sullivan. When Sullivan asked Reddington to go to the sidebar to speak privately, Reddington said, "I really don't want to go to the sidebar." Sullivan replied, "Well, I need to know what you're going to talk about before–" before he was cut off by Reddington. "I want to tell you that they got picked up on a hot mic saying 'shut her up' during the playing of their autopsy," Reddington said. The state's medical examiner testified Thursday, Aug. 6, about her examination of 8-month-old Callan Clancy including showing autopsy photos. During the testimony, Lindsay Clancy could be heard sobbing. During Reddington's claim, Assistant District Attorneys Jennifer Sprague and Shanan Buckingham appeared to look at each other. Reddington said, "This is not like 'The Handmaid's Tale' where you're going to tape her mouth shut." Sullivan replied, "I'm not doing that at all. I just want to find out what the issue is.
