@jen_charlottee: The day after tilt might be more important than the tilt itself. Because when you wake up and realize you're back at zero, everything in you wants to FIX IT. Buy the evals. Pass them fast. Get funded again. Get back to where you were before you screwed up. I used to do exactly that. And I didn't realize it at the time, but I wasn't actually moving on from the mistake. I was dragging it out. The urgency from the day before just followed me into a new account. Starting over sucks. Sitting with the consequences of your own decisions sucks. But sometimes the fastest way back is to stop trying to get back so fast. Slow down. Go back to the process. Trade what's in front of you instead of trading to get back what you lost. You don't have to fix yesterday. #tradingmindset #tradermindset #daytrading #propfirm #learntotrade
I quit for the day if I lose 2, and I never take more than 3 positions in a day. If I lose the first two, I’m done. Always. The first thing I had to learn as a trader was to not trade when you have past trades on your mind.

I have titled before but that's just blowing my one account. What I do now when I have one base hit loss, I celebrate it and treat it like | hit a huge trading milestone. I treat myself to a diet Dr Pepper, I make time for a hot bath, I'll allow myself to watch social media reels (usually only watch longer form content) or I find a way to reward myself. Not for losing but for accepting the one loss and moving the bleep on with my day🤩
