I used to take my medication with yogurt because I was scared I’d choke on my meds. I like to think the pills I swallowed were covered in yogurt. Still hard but if you think of it as just another spoonful of yogurt you don’t really notice the pills you’re taking.

Gonna drop this here: I always hated when people called me emotionally mature. It was because I had no one to speak with about how I felt so I had to be there for myself. In turn, I got smarter emotionally, but I still struggled. When people praised me for it, it made me feel as though I wasn’t able to reach out of show weakness. Which just lead me to closing off even more. Years of this and I’m still the therapist friend, and I still struggle to talk about stuff

It was never the size of them, it was the amount that we had to swallow that made us so mature with emotions

I remember giving my grandmother her chemo meds and antidepressants, watching her wash them down with coffee. It eventually got to difficult to her and I had to switch to apple sauce. A week after we switched to apple sauce she died. She always knew exactly what to say. I think I died with her because I just can't think anymore.
