Last week I installed an automatic latch on a door so that the secretary didn’t have to stand up and open the door for every arriving patient. During installation I explained five times what the button under her desk does. When I left that evening I told her to test it out. She still couldn’t figure out the button.

I drove 40 minutes across town to a clinic I did IT for because they INSISTED their computer wouldn’t turn on. I asked if they were sure they were turning on the PC tower and not the back up battery tower that looked pretty similar. They were insulted by that question because “they turn on the computers every day and know the difference”. Shocker: It was the battery.
