We spend so much time trying to figure out what people are thinking and how to come across to them rather than just listening and loving. Heard a girl today say “the loudest person in the room is the most insecure person in the room.” And I thought why do you care who the most insecure person in the room is? Why don’t you just be present and try and lift that person up. Instead you out here judging people and truth is you don’t know anything. Maybe there arms are crossed cause they’re cold or they always cross their arms so it’s practice or it’s simply more comfortable. The more we are constantly thinking about how other people perceive us the less we are tending to their needs and the less we’re able to give them our attention because we’re really just thinking about ourselves
