was told my ankle was fine after surgery but i felt like there was something wrong….years later i found out that hard feeling was bone spurs directly where the ankle bends

happened to me with my ankle. told it’d be 2 weeks and nothing was wrong. i ruptured all the ligaments and the tendons and needed surgery. i’ll be cleared in 9 days after being out for 8 months. always advocate!!!

Not as bad in comparison but I had a suuuper awkward fall (foot that was bent back was up on a curb and the rest of me was on the street). I was in a lot of pain and they told me to come back in a week to test the ligaments after a clear Xray. I came back and she looked (did not touch) at my knee and said “Your Xray looks good and you your knee looks fine”. Yeah so I had MPFL reconstruction surgery a three weeks ago and had to have a cadaver ligament stitched into my kneecap. Lady how many knee injuries can you diagnose with an Xray and visual inspection alone??

I had a pretty severe injury to mu knee they decided I didnt need surgery and I just needed PT well I did that for 8idh weeks and it was the worst thing I think that could have happened because I've now given up trying to advocate for myself it just ends up a waste of my time no one believes me anymore
