You can do it. I’m a whyt woman in my 50s who adopted a boy who is a different race. Try walking into an exclusively blk barber shop filled with older men. I walked in with my son and held my head up high. The whole room stopped and looked at me. I just smiled and spoke up and said who can cut my child’s hair. Still going 7 yrs later.
