When you apply directly to the client, you usually don’t have to go through all these extra steps, assessments, and interviews. What makes it more frustrating is when they’re looking for someone with high-level qualifications, extensive experience, and multiple skills, but the salary they’re offering is less than $7 an hour. At that point, it’s honestly bullshit. If you’re expecting someone highly qualified, the compensation should reflect the value and experience they bring to the table.
