Alright, so I won't speak on the legal aspect of this, afterall, I'm not a lawyer. I am, however, a doctor. And hear me when I saw there's just no fucking way Lindsay, with the severity of the injuries she presented that night, with the amount of substances found in her system, with that freakishly low body temperature who was reported by multiple healthcare providers (and that I personally have never seen on a LIVING human, let alone a conscious one) was speaking full sentences. The EMTs themselves, brought to testimony by the prosecution, told she was only barely responsive to pain and could only mumble incoherent sounds. All the medical evidence shown on this case so far goes against Patrick's story that she "confessed", she would be in no condition to speak coherently. So I still don't know why in a situation like that, 3 kids killed and a woman damn near dead, the police would take the word of the one person unharmed without a second thought, without proper investigation.

I’m an attorney and I totally get your point. That doesn’t mean I believe the conspiracy theory, it’s more that there are unanswered questions, which speaks to a poor investigation and leaves doors open. There may be explanations, but without them, they stick out and potentially introduce an element of doubt that otherwise could have been dispelled.

A big thing that I see from a forensics point of view is, they have left the door open for doubt. The physical evidence that you would expect to be presented in the trial…. Isn’t. Maybe they thought they had a slam dunk and didn’t do a complete job but it’s not the most robust forensics.

I think Lindsey was failed by her husband and the healthcare system but everyone now saying he killed the kids and tried to kill her is so messed up. He is probably suffering so much and now reliving his trauma with the trial to now go on social media and see everyone calling him a monster? So messed up.

In the medical field a patient who is that heavily medicated cannot even sign a consent form because these medications would cloud judgement but we have to believe a murder confession while she was so heavily medicated? Make this make sense!

I really think people are misinterpreting his demeanor on the stand. What some are seeing as cold or emotionless looks to me like someone who is profoundly traumatized and has dissociated to a level that allows him to testify and function through something unimaginable. Sometimes that emotional detachment is how a person survives overwhelming trauma. That man looks completely broken.
