@lucy.marie25: Some days just feel… loud. This morning was full of big toddler emotions, a baby who only wanted to be in my arms, and me trying my best to hold it all together. It felt like one of those days where everyone needed me at the same time. Thankfully we’d booked a session at The Family Nook in Pulborough, and it was exactly what we all needed. 🤍 It’s one of our favourite places because it’s small enough that I can keep an eye on my toddler while sitting with the baby, the food and drinks are genuinely so good, and everything on the menu feels thoughtfully chosen. I also love that books and reading are woven into the space, and every member of staff makes you feel so welcome. It feels like somewhere designed by people who really understand families. The rest of the day still felt overstimulating. I even escaped for a shower just to have a minute to breathe… only for my toddler to join me. 😂 But they’re both asleep now, the house is quiet, and I’m reminding myself that not every day has to be productive or picture-perfect.
