@traveltomtom: A gorilla in front? 😳 The most random place in Lagos! 🤷🏽‍♂️ What on earth did I just find in Lagos, Nigeria… 😂🇳🇬 A crocodile outside. An elephant. A gorilla hanging from the building like King Kong. A random bus… And then suddenly I’m walking into what looks like an Egyptian temple! 🇪🇬🏛️ I genuinely had no idea what was waiting inside. I randomly found this place on Google Maps and decided to check it out. Pyramids, Egyptian thrones, huge wall paintings and decorations everywhere. It’s completely over the top, but also pretty damn cool. And yes… somehow this is actually a restaurant in Lagos. 😂 This is definitely the luxury side of Lagos. My pasta was around $20 USD, which is a lot of money by Nigerian standards. So not your standard Lagos restaurant. I ordered pasta pesto and they asked me of course the most Nigerian question possible: spicy or not spicy? 😂🌶️ Spicy pesto?! Never had that before! 😳 But damn… they actually made it work. Rich, creamy, ridiculously spicy and genuinely good. Nigeria really finds a way to put spice in EVERYTHING. 😂🇳🇬 So looking for a quirky (expensive) restaurant in Lagos find the Gorilla hanging from the building and an entrance that looks like an Egyptian Temple! 😂 ❤️🇳🇬 #lagos #restaurant #nigeria
