@ny1: City officials on Friday shared the NYPD’s plans for security ahead of Sunday’s Dominican Day Parade. Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said New Yorkers "can expect an increased police presence throughout the area, to include uniformed officers posted along the route, traffic agents at intersections and crossings, as well as personnel from our Emergency Service Unit."
