@nomnomvel: RICE COOKER MANGO STICKY RICE bc we’re not fighting over no frozen mango sticky rice from Trader Joe’s over here 🥭🙅🏻‍♀️ Ingredients: • 1 1/2 cup Glutionous or Sticky Rice • 1 cup Water • 1 can Coconut Milk • 1 cup Sugar • Ripe Mangoes For Glaze: • 1 tbsp Cornstarch • 1 tbsp Water Garnish with: • Tosated Sesame Seeds • Mint 1. Add rice to rice cooker - wash & drain 2. Add in cup of water, or enough to barely cover the top of rice, & cook in rice cooker on regular rice setting (note: should cook in about 30 mins, but can check halfway to flip rice) 3. While rice is cooking, start on sweet coconut milk - in saucepan, add in can of coconut milk & sugar 4. Bring to boil & mix until sugar is dissolved - set aside 5. Once rice is done, add in 1 1/2 cup of sweet coconut milk from saucepan into rice - mix gently 6. With remaining sauce, put it back on stovetop & create a glaze, by adding cornstarch slurry (mix equal parts cornstarch & water) - bring to a boil & remove from heat so glaze can thicken 7. Cut up mango however you’d like 8. Assemble plate by adding rice, mangos, glaze overtop, & garnish with toasted sesame seeds & mint #mango #mangostickyrice #thaifood #dessert #EasyRecipe
