Many ppl, esp men, just don't get how hard being the SAHP is, until they do it. Life changes caused me and hubby to switch roles, I'm now able to work my dream job. But he came to me and apologized for not realizing exactly how hard it was, and that's with me cooking dinners when I get home from work, and doing things around the house on the weekends. Not going to say help him around the house, cause it's both of our responsibility cause we both live here. But even with me doing tasks, he struggled for a bit until he figured out what works for him. My way is the best way I've found for ME to clean, it's not the only way, and both of us have had to realize that, I can't get mad if the task gets done but in a different way, and he can't just not do tasks because he doesn't know how I want them done. For the longest time he wouldn't fold clothes cause it's not how I do it, I said I don't care how they're folded, just as long as they're separated by child, otherwise I have to partially unfold to see sizes. That's why he sees me "refolding" clothes, not because I don't like how they're folded, but to get them put away where they need to go. 😂
