OMG! And here I was thinking Japan was much safer than the US. I always naturally look at ALL strangers with suspicion but I thought people were more genuinely nice in Japan. 😭 Not sure if I went to Kabukicho or not. I went all over Tokyo along with other cities like Kyoto. It’s sad that we can’t let our guard down anywhere in the world. 😭

My half Japanese friend, whose father is an ex Yakuza, said the reason Japan is so safe, is because they cover it up and they don’t put it in records. Do yall remember that little boy that got 🍇ed and killed by some older man, the police told a witness that tried to help, to just leave the situation alone.
