Wow this message resonates SO much. I’ve been diagnosed with 4 chronic illnesses in the last year and have been struggling to push through life with my body screaming at me. I have stage 4 endometriosis, hEDS, MCAS, and POTS, and have had a few surgeries this year. I also work a very physical job in dentistry and have been pushing my body past its limits just to get through work and see my patients. I became so disabled and ill that I couldn’t push anymore and felt so defeated having to medically retire from my career after spending so much time effort and energy to get my degrees and be self sufficient. I ignored my body to do my job and I suffered greatly to the point my doctors had to tell me to stop working. I feel embarrassed and pathetic not being able to work and provide for myself but I’m realizing finally “quitting” to heal might actually be the key to beginning my dream life. This is my turning point I think. I’ve lost so much with losing my health to chronic illness, and losing my job was the straw that broke the camels back. Now a month into submitting to a healing hiatus, I believe I’m being realigned onto a better, more abundant path. Thank you for this🫶🏽
