I LOVE The West Wing, John died a few episodes before the actual death episode, and knowing he was gone before the did his death in the show was sad. Also, THANK YOU for knowing that Arnold (Alan Alda) was supposed to win, I state that fact so many times, and people refuse to accept it, and I keep telling them - the behind the scenes feature on the DVD of season 7 shows Arnold's storyline.

I’ve never seen the west wing it’s on the to do list somewhere but seeing Alan Alda playing a republican will be a hard god damn sell given his biggest role is Hawkeye a very liberal minded person

they couldn't have changed the ending for John Spencer's death. the first episode of the final season had aired before he died, I believe, and while i suppose it was SOMEWHAT ambiguous, it heavily alluded to Santos winning

I LOVE the scene where Leo is talking to Josh and tells him the story of the guy in the well. It is a great analogy and I have used it in my life when friends have need support. Thank you John Spencer and Arron Sorkin.

I met Bradley Whitford and President Obama few years ago, and I asked him about this and he said the scene where Annabeth tells that Leo was gone, was one of the hardest scenes he has ever filmed. 🥺

It always gets me when actors have to react to the character dying due to the the actor dying. You can tell they’re not acting and are showing the genuine response to losing their friend.
