Hey, this is a word of love from a migrant living in NZ for 8 years and yet not a citizen... I understand the feelings for Aotearoa and how you made a great fit in this country. I wish you nothing but all the aroha you need to accomplish your wishes. However, as every other country, NZ immigration have rules; all of us went through their tedious, and necessary, processes. If you really wish to live here permanently, I would recommend getting back home and hire an Immigration Advisor to plan your next steps, do not nourish fake hopes, make a solid plan to return and thrive! Things are not as simple as find a kiwi partner and get a citizenship, but with the right direction to get what you are wishing for! You got this!
