@vanader: 3 mistakes I see rookie business owners make over and over... The first is overspending. Making $80,000 in sales doesn't mean you have $80,000 to spend. You have to look at cash flow. The second is ignoring customer acquisition cost. If you spend $1,000 on ads and one person buys, that's a $100 CAC. Most businesses can't survive that. You need to get it under $30 to $40, which means making a lot of content and getting really good at ads. The third is low average order value. If customers is spending less than $50 per order, it's very hard to make a profit no matter what you're selling. Bundle products, add value, give them a reason to spend more. The businesses that survive are the ones with healthy AOV and tight acquisition costs. Don't make the mistakes I made when I was starting out.
