motorbrushes got to low. motor likely screwed based on times I've tried to replace brushes and clean the rest of it.

That is so you can see inside when your troubleshooting, that way you don't have to worry about a flashlight or headlamp.

That's weird. The sparks are not coming from the brushes and they rotate with the rotor. Maybe a wire in the rotor broke?

Saw that on a 2000hp motor with 48 brushes right before it decided to melt most of the com. Good times.

the communtator has excessive film build up. need to run a clean up brush on it
