10 years. may this edit would be mine time machine to all the memories i had with these four girls. i remember that summer..catching sunrises with bsfs, lovesick girls on repeat, feeling like nothing else mattered, nothing was easier. sleepovers where we just forgot everything except their tracks, going absolutely wild, feeling so freaking alive even though I grew up in an environment where very few people understood me or my interests and passions, I found support in these girls. there is no precise way to describe the admiration and love I feel for them :( I truly don’t have the right words to describe my feelings toward blackpink. It’s a connection. a nostalgic bond that I feel and try to weave into my creative work and edits. the bp girls are present in every moment of my life. whenever I feel down or think about my future, each of them comes to mind. rosie, sooyaa, nini, lili-reminding me to believe in my own uniqueness and my own path, and that everything will work out :) their music, their vibe, car rides to nowhere-that was my air back then. my main inspo when it felt like only you girls truly got the world I saw. u were my temporal anchors when I needed to ground myself n my comfort when literally everything else felt weird. ur strength, ur journey, how u owned it and created ur whole universe-that just hits different totally resonated w how I saw the world and my place in it. now making this edit for your 10th anniversary, I'm actually crying. like full on ugly crying from all the nostalgia for that world n that feeling, which maybe won't ever come back. crying 'cause I realize how much you meant and still mean to me, to the girl who grew up with your songs, and to the one whos trying to figure things out now. ur the actual soundtrack to my life, to all its wild chapters. and this is my promise to myself: im gonna keep creating, keep feeling, keep living in my own world, so one day I can finally be where my heart truly belongs. thank u for these 10 years, blackpink. you’re literally a part of my soul. #blackpink #jennie #jisoo #lisa #rosé - @s4uvw
