I think having teachers who express themselves teaches kids to accept people who may be “different” because it breaks the idea that “respected people” need to look a certain way. I also think it gives kids creative license to express themselves

The USA is so weird. In quebec, at least where I live (mtrl), the teacher do not even have dress codes (I assume). Like my French teacher wore a mini (like really mini) skirt (granted with stockings), with high heels and a tight shirt and that doesn't remove anything from the fact that she was one the best teachers I've ever had. 😮💨
